How to stop the touchpad on my laptop?

Hi there. When I typing, I always intentionally touch the touchpad of my laptop and the focus would go somewhere else, and I have to use my mouse to point the right window again. I could stop the touchpad in xfce settting. How can I stop it in i3? Thx.

Just give out more info here, people who wants to stop the touchpad can use "syndaemon" as well. man syndaemon for detailed information.
