apt-get install libxcb-image0 libxcb-render-util0 # from repo (wheezy)

dpkg -i libxcb-cursor0\_0.1.1-2\_amd64.deb # from packages.debian.org (jessie!)

apt-get install -t wheezy-backports i3 # great success

Comment by jbelpo for
When will i3 ver. 4.7 be alvaliable in wheezy-backports?

But can't be installed anyway, because of unsolvable dependencies:

"i3-wm : Hängt ab von: libxcb-cursor0 (>= 0.0.99), welches ein virtuelles Paket ist."

libxcb-cursor0 is only avaliable in debian sid.

To enter backports, a package needs to be available in testing first, i.e. there is a minimum delay of 10 days after each i3 release.
