I noticed that whenever I closed the cover of my laptop the system does not automatically susspend anymore as it used to do with XFCE.  It just stays on.  I have configured a keybinding to trigger pm-suspend and that works fine I want the same behavior when I close the screen.  please help

Now everything works and is as configurable as xfce will allow me.
