I am trying to setup i3 on fedora 21 using `gnome-settings-daemon`.

With ubuntu, I just need to start this daemon in my i3 config and all my settings are honered.

If I do the same with fedora 21, using:

`exec /usr/libexec/gnome-settings-daemon`

Some settings are honored (fonts, gnome theme, etc) but not all.

Keyboard layout is not set properly and CAPSLK/CTRL swap settings (configured using `gnome-tweak-tool`) are not set properly.

Do I need to start any other daemon?
