Just discovered scratchpad today.
Anyway to assign [class="gnote"] scratchpad like one can do with workspaces?
On another note, scratchpad seems like it has the potential to be an OSX expose-style application switcher, that would be really nice ;-)
After a few days on i3 I must say that it is truly an Awesome WM ;-)
scratchpad is just another workspace. just use it the same way.
for_window [class="gnote"] move to scratchpad
cool +1 as well if I had the rep -- got caught up in trying to assign apps to particular workspaces, vs. using for_window and moving to. Going to try to exec gnote on i3 startup and see if it automatically moves it.
