i3status battery status problem

i3status' battery %status option only shows BAT even when the laptop is charging. I know this is not the end of the world, but if anyone knows how to fix it I would be grateful.

PS: Didn't really know what other information to provide, so just tell me what you need in the comments and I'll try my best to give it to you.

Most likely your battery is in a different path than the default in i3status.conf. See http://i3wm.org/i3status/manpage.html... and check in /sys

I already fixed that. It's not a "no battery"-problem. The percentage works fine, it's just the %status that doesn't update correctly. It shows Bat even when charging and battery is full.
