I installed i3 in Terminal while using LXDE and guest additions. The window resizing works fine in LXDE, once I rebooted and selected i3 for Windows and logged in, i3 doesn't resize with the Virtualbox window, it stays in the default size.

Is there something I am missing to get this working right so it resizes?

Resolved: added in exec VBoxClient-all to the config file and now the window resizes.
