Hello, I was wondering how I can make i3 my default window manager. I'm currently running on Xubuntu 12.04 but after installing i3, it still defaults to xfce's login screen when I first boot.

This depends on your login manager. Which one do you use?

I run i3 on a xubuntu 13.10 and there it defaults to the last used wm.
e.g. If last session was i3 then next session on login is i3 automatically, if I don't change it manually. Seems to be logic and wanted behavior.
