While this works

bindsym $mod+p exec xfce4-screenshooter

this doesn't:

bindsym $mod+p exec xfce4-screenshooter --region

Why not? And what can I do to make it work?

UPDATE: This seems to be a bug on my system or the version of xfce4-screenshooter I have installed, It doesn't even work in a XFCE-session. This question may therefore be closed (can't do it myself yet), as this obviously has nothing to do with i3.

Hey. This one works for me:

bindsym Mod4+p exec "xfce4-screenshooter -r"

Comments

This somehow doesn't do the trick for me.
