When I open an application, the top of the application window shows the title of the document or the title of the website you visit.
But when I use i3 WM, then all the Korean titles are broken and denoted by boxes. On the other hand, I don't have such problem in Gnome.
How can I solve this problem in i3?
One can consult the user guide, Section 4.2 Fonts about using pango.

Hadn't seen the pango support yet (I use Japanese and Chinese on a daily basis, and missed that a lot - instead of finding the xfonts myself)... Awesome!

Please state what version of i3 you are using. i3 4.3 is the first version with pango support, so if you configure the font using pango: or xft: (depends on the version), things should work fine.
