How to remove the tabbar in Chromium

Hi, is there a way to remove the tabbar in Chromium? I'd like to have clicks on links to open a new window instead and never use tabs at all. I found some discussions and don't know if it's even possible. Has anybody a solution for this one?

there was a discussion back in 2011 about a --no-tabs flag, but i don't really know if it's implementet (and i am not on linux right now for checking)

Not a full solution but you can open any link in a new window with:

ALT+SHIFT+mouse1
