I'd like to assign $mod+F1..F3 to respective monitors. But I'm not finding a solid tool to do the warping, so far. Any tips?

I'm noticing that switching workspaces on different outputs already accomplishes this. Difference here was that I was sending only a container to output 3.

This probably means I will simply have to configure another workspace to send to output 3.

Exactly. Focusing workspace moves cursor to previously active window on that workspace unless cursor is already in that workspace, in which case nothing happens.
