Assign an app to multiple workstations

Hi, I'm actually trying to use i3 as a standalone solution and I really didn't find a good way share a window --or an image-- between two monitors. Assigning the same app to 2, or more, workspaces, which are in different monitors, would do the trick. Is that possible?

Not possible. If it's for a presentation maybe mirror your display?

To elaborate on the background: Not having a window being displayed on two monitors at the same time is not possible because that requires compositing and i3 is not a compositing window manager.
