Is there a way to have vertical statusbar ? (text can be 90 degres rotated), or is it not possible ?

No, there is not. (At least not at the moment)

Thanks for your quick response. It's sad however I'll continue to use i3 of course, and I have just to code it if that's realy matter for me :)
