When terminator change to floating window, can only see titlebar

I have a problem with terminator terminal while working on i3. When I make the terminator window floating, the geometry size becomes so small that I can only see the titlebar. I tried changing the size within terminator's config but without success. I then tried in the i3 config floating_minimum_size 475 x 550 but the problem persists.

Anybody have the same issue with terminator?

Just checked. Same problem here. uname-r: 3.15.5-1-ARCH, i3: v4.8, terminator: 0.97

Try Preferences > Window geometry hints = uncheck
