Workspace moving behaviour across multiple screens

Hello, thanks for this beautiful window manager. But today I bought a second monitor and experienced a strange behaviour when moving windows to a workspace on the other monitor.

I enabled "workspace auto back and forth" and changed the bindsyms to something like "bindsym ..... move workspace x; workspace x". Now when I move my window to another monitor, the focus stays on the current one because "move workspace x" changes focus automatically for different monitors.

Is there a possibility to let "move workspace x" behave with different monitors like with a single one?

The version of i3 I'm using currently: i3 version 4.2 (2012-04-25, branch "release-4.2") © 2009-2012 Michael Stapelberg and contributors

I would appreciate if someone could help me.

Have a nice day!

Can you please share your entire config at a nopaste service like http://pastebin.com/ and give an example with real workspace names and output names?

Thank you for your response. As you requested I copied my entire config to pastebin: http://pastebin.com/TWFXD84T Workspace 1 is the left monitor, Workspace 2 the right one. If I press Super+Shift+2 to move a window to workspace 2 and directly change focus, only the window will be moved.

I also experienced that my other bindsyms (Super+CTRL+2), which are actually for moving without following with the focus, works for workspaces on different monitors like Super+Shift+2 on the same one. Actually I think it's kind of a feature that I didn't understand.

At this point (after you provided your config file), I’d say it’s a bug. Please file a ticket at http://bugs.i3wm.org/ with a full debug-level logfile and all the information you provided here.
