flash player not working under i3 [closed]

Hi. I am running Ubutnu 14.04. I have several wm/desktop managers installed, and only when I am using i3, flash player does not seem to work(displaying a "A plugin(ShockWave Flash) isn't responding" error in the browser). Any idea what might be causing this?
