file browser

I just started using i3 and often when I click a button that would open a file browser, i3 seems to crash. All my windows move into one half of one screen. I haven't uninstalled Unity so that may be the problem, is there an i3 file browser I should get to prevent this?

Which file-manager are you using? Maybe [this question](https://faq.i3wm.org/question/1/how-can-i-get-rid-of-the-nautilus-desktop-window/) holds (part of) the answer.

I am using nautilus, and that fixed it. Thanks!
