auto-mount

I am using Ubuntu 14.04, and I am having a hard time getting USB and SD to auto-mount on the system. Is there a relatively easy way to do this? I haven't been able to find a lot of answers, thanks in advance:)

Thanks, works really well! Have you got it to mount an SD card that is already connected on startup?
