Hi thanks for the excellent wm, love it. I'm using i3 4.8 on Slackware 14.1 and everything is working perfectly except for one small issue. On the rare occasion when I exit i3 with Shift+Mod+e, then log back in, the nagbar shows up again and then I must close it. This happens when logging back into i3 or a different environment such as xfce. It isn't a big deal because it doesn't cause any problems but I would like to diagnose and fix it. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

You should update to the latest version of i3 first since we don't support older versions (which doesn't stop anyone from helping you, of course). Often bugs have been fixed in the meantime.

Awesome thank you will do. I used the packages available from the Slackbuilds.org site but will attempt to upgrade i3. Still new to Slackware so may take me some time. Thank you.

Closed since I'm using an older version of i3.

You don't need to close it. Someone might help you. There's just no official support regarding bugs. Or did updating solve it?

Don't think I can re-open the question and there is a problem building an updated i3. I've tried and seen a couple forum posts about not being able to build 4.10 or greater. I'll try again and look into the errors. Thank you.
