Does i3 support multiple X Screens? ie:"Zaphod Mode"

Users who have multiple GPUs cannot use XRandR to make a single "big desktop." Is there any way to get i3 to manage multiple X screens on the display without horrible keyboard focus problems? Other window managers do this just fine. (blackbox/fluxbox/openbox, kwin, awesome <=3.4)
