The hangouts extensions title changes every time the name of the hangout itself is changed and it appears to lack a class value. Is there a way to always have the windows float instead of manually floating the window each time the name change?

Try this rule in your .i3/config file:

for_window [window_role="pop-up"] floating enable

edit flag offensive delete link
