Since i3 v.4.2 there is sometimes a blue line at one border of the window. I saw this in the changelog

Highlight the right/bottom border of split windows ("indicator")

... but I don't get it. What does this "indicator" want to signal me? (I use a dual head monitor setup).

EDIT: The Manual has some useful information on this.

The indicator indicates where the next window will be placed for a vertically or horizontally split container.

To see the difference, open a window, split it horizontally. You will get an indicator on the right side and the next window you open will be placed to the right of the current window. Then open another window, split it vertically. You will get an indicator on the bottom and the next window you open will be placed below the current window.

Thanks! That makes sense!

Is the indicators thickness configurable? It's very hard to see on my monitor and would prefer it to be slightly thicker
