Customize the i3lock unlock-indicator

Is there a way to customize the i3lock's unlock-indicator?

For instance instead of the circle a simple dot that lights up green on input and red on deletion?

You can disable the indicator with

i3lock -u

Any other indicator customizations are not possible at the moment.
