Hi, I have a problem with the size of firefox : it seams that firefox remember the size of the windows from the last time I used it. Example of problem

I used to have that problem with firefox, too. Not every time... In those cases closing and relaunching FF solved it. Since I use Palemoon instead of FF I don't have that problem... ;)
I have this problem too. To restore the good "size", I do a double fullscreen hot key. It's an easy fix, but I don't know if it's a Firefox's issue or a i3wm's one. For the moment, I never saw this bug elsewhere than under i3wm.
Could you send a resize envent when a program is open ?
Why should we workaround the issues of an application? Unless there is a reason why i3 is at fault, I suggest you file a bug against firefox for this.
