How to configure right click menu colours?

Currently the right click menu, and any drop down menus are a windows-98 esque blue on grey. Is there any way of changing this? (GTK apps show up using the default gtk theme, however I don't use many GTK apps). I have read a guide on how to change the colors, but it only described changing the window titles.

I agree with sur5r. The context menus for applications will be configured based on the gui toolkit used to build them. If they are kde apps, the settings will be in ~/.kde or ~/.kde4. The following link describes how to set on a per-app basis: http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=....

I highly doubt this is really an i3 related question. Colors like those in context menus depend on the particular application you are running or the graphics toolkit it is using.
